Gaming boutique research and consulting firm Eilers & Krejcik Gaming (EKG) has announced key details for its upcoming 6th Annual EKG Slot Awards. Scheduled to take place on February 29, 2024, the event will be held at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
The event, running from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, aims to acknowledge achievements in slot machine game development across various categories within the casino gaming industry.
EKG has confirmed the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas as the Platinum sponsor and host site for this awards show. Moreover, gaming influencer Brian Christopher of BC Slots will reprise his role as the host for the evening's proceedings.
To attend or explore sponsorship opportunities, interested parties have been advised to RSVP via email to [email protected]. The event itinerary includes a cocktail reception kicking off at 5:45 PM, followed by a dinner and networking session starting at 7:00 PM. 
The highlight of the evening, the Awards Show, is scheduled from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM, followed by an after-party from 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
The EKG Slot Awards categories are determined by EKG principals and the EKG Slot Awards Board of Advisors. Winners will be decided through “a data-driven approach” combining proprietary game performance data and surveys of qualified slot managers, ensuring a comprehensive assessment across land-based categories. 
For award categories where proprietary data is not available, the award winner will be solely determined by the survey responses. For the Social Casino and iGaming segments, winners will be determined by a panel of industry experts combined with EKG proprietary data.
