With the win, the Green Archers secured the third Final Four slot with an 8-3 tally in the standings and further bolstered their bid for a twice-to-beat advantage.
In a seemingly quiet game, MVP frontrunner Kevin Quiambao still managed to deliver a double-double performance despite not racking up his usual numbers.
Quiambao iced the match with two freebies from the line to finish in double figures with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
No other Green Archers breached the double-digit mark, but Michael Phillips registered eight markers and made up for the slack in the defensive end with 10 rebounds.
Both squads engaged in a tight affair heading into the fourth quarter before Evan Nelle launched a triple to create a 57-50 gap.
In the end, the Soaring Falcons were held to only three field goals in the final quarter, which was evidently not enough to hold off the Green Archers in the slightest.
Didat Hanapi led all scorers to pace the Soaring Falcons with 16 points, while Matthew Montebon and Joem Sabandal had 10 and 11 points, respectively.
Adamson went into a two-way tie with defending champion Ateneo with similar 5-6 records as they vie for the last remaining Final Four seat.
